Orpah occurs as character in the Hebrew Bible. She is from either Moab, and was a daughter-within-law of Naomi, and married woman of Mahlon.

Fallowing a dying of her hubby, Orpah & her sister-around-law Ruth wished to go to Judea by having Naomi. She was persuaded, still, by Naomwe to link to to her humans & to her gods (Ruth i. Quartet et seq.).

Inside rabbinic literature Orpah is identified with Harafa, a mother of the quatern Anti-intellectual giants; & these little joe sons were said to use at times been given her for the little joe tears which she shed at dispense with her mother-inside-law (Babylonian Talmud, Sotah 42b).

Based on datthe from the legend inside a midrash, Orpah was a sister of Ruth; and each were girl of the Moabite king Eglon (Ruth R. deuce. Nine). Her title was changed to "Orpah" because she turned her back inside her mother-in-law (ib.; comprehensive examination. Sotah l.c.) Of these source in the Talmud states that she was flushed by King David's general Abishai, a boy of Zeruiah (Sanhedrin 95a).

She is does'nt to exist as confused by owning Oprah.
